Outdoor Recreation

recreation-fishingIdaho's delightful and distinctive four seasons provide locals with an abundance of outdoor recreational activities. And, the Treasure Valley’s close proximity to the surrounding mountain ranges can create some unusual options. For example, you just might find yourself in the quandary of having to decide between playing golf or going snow skiing on a gloriously sunny spring day. Or in the fall you might be tempted to combine both, hunting and fishing, into one quick, easy, day trip. And summer? Did you know that Treasure Valley residents enjoy daylight as late as 10:00pm in the peak summer months? Just imagine the endless possibilities with an 11-hour window of daylight.

Following is a list of some of the area’s most popular outdoor recreation activities. Click on any of the activities to be redirected to a website specific to that sport.
